American Black Bears: New Neighbors in the Big Bend

There are some new neighbors in Texas’ Big Bend. Black Bears returned to Big Bend National Park after an absence of more than four decades, and now their range is expanding into new areas of far West Texas.

In this booklet for all ages, I talk with some experts to learn and share info about our fascinating bear friends along with some fun drawings, a coloring page and a little lesson on how to draw your own bear!
